Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information CSE Reviewer PH (“we”, “us”, the “Site”) collects when you use https://csereviewph.online, how it is used, and the choices you have. We respect your privacy and aim to comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission.
1. Information we collect
We do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email or other personal details to use the reviewer. Information may be collected in these ways:
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
- Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and third-party services may receive technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages.
- Cookies and similar technologies used by advertising and analytics partners, described below.
2. Browser storage (localStorage)
The reviewer stores your quiz settings (such as mode, number of items and timer preference), your theme preference and, if you leave mid-quiz, your in-progress quiz in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is used only so the reviewer remembers your choices. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. The reviewer still works if storage is disabled.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may use Google AdSense to show ads. In connection with this:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (My Ad Center). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- If personalized ads are turned off, you may still see non-personalized ads, which use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before personalized ads are shown.
4. Analytics
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service (for example, Google Analytics or a cookieless alternative) to understand aggregate usage such as page views and popular categories. 5. How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the reviewer and its content;
- To respond to messages and error reports;
- To show advertising that keeps the Site free; and

We do not sell your personal information.
6. Your rights under the Data Privacy Act
As a data subject, you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to erasure or blocking, to rectification, to data portability, to damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To exercise these rights regarding information we hold (for example, emails you sent us), contact us at admin@csereviewph.online. 7. Data retention and security
We keep emails only as long as needed to respond and for our records, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect them. The Site is served over HTTPS.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for people preparing for the Civil Service Exam, which requires applicants to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
The Site links to other websites, such as csc.gov.ph. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
